Burrowing Owl

Last summer one evening, my husband and I were walking with the dog down our shop road and these owls kept following us. We must’ve been close to their nest. They especially didn’t like the dog anywhere near and kept trying to lure her away.

It’s hard to get a good picture of a watercolor. There are subtle colors and details that camera just cannot capture. Dimensions are 6.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide in a 10 x 8” Mat.
